Discover the delicate and timeless art of Oshibana, a traditional Japanese practice that transforms pressed flowers, leaves, and other botanicals into stunning, nature-inspired artwork. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn techniques for arranging and preserving these natural elements to create your own unique masterpiece.

The word Oshibana translates to “painting with natural elements,” and this class will guide you through the process of composing a picture that captures the beauty of the natural world.

All supplies, including a variety of pressed botanicals and tools, are provided, making this a perfect opportunity for both beginners and experienced crafters to explore this meditative and creative art form. Join Mary to connect with nature and create something truly one-of-a-kind!

In this class, you will design three items:

1. A glass jar lantern that can be used for candles or as a flower vase

2. A mini floating frame—no glue required!

3. A 4×6 natural paper piece, allowing more space to create your own masterpiece, which can be framed.
